Accounting

Bookkeepers work in the same open office as other Northern Alaska Tour Company coworkers but tend to have minimal interaction with guests. They perform the essential tasks of tracking revenues and expenses and must be careful, detail oriented persons with the ability to see and understand the big picture while being immersed in minutiae.

Specifically, Bookkeepers review and organize incoming accounting documents, process revenue deposits and credit card transactions and execute credit card settlements, review reservations for anticipated deposits and update contact logs, prepare and post vendor payables, post vendor invoices and credit card purchases, assist with retail inventory and prepare bi-weekly payroll.
